A spread of disinformation campaigns are intended to suppress voter turnout by instilling doubt in the legitimacy of our electoral process. Oftentimes, disinformation tactics are intended to dissuade people from voting; the tacticians know just how powerful a politically engaged citizenry can be. Let’s use our power this November and put our best foot forward for what comes next: the harder work of working with government officials to achieve our community’s shared interests. -

Yesterday’s grand jury decision to indict only one Louisville police officer in the case of the murder of Breonna Taylor was a miscarriage of justice to her family, to the people of Louisville, and to the ideals of this country. MPAC firmly denounces this decision that has left a family, community, and nation in grief and outrage. -

John Gibbs is the latest Nominee by the Trump administration. If approved, he will take over the Office of Personnel Management, serving a four-year appointment. However, this appointment raises red flags for stakeholders, as the Nominee will be responsible for leading the chief human resources agency for the Federal government. -
