MPAC Speaks at Southern Poverty Law Center’s Panel: Strength in Unity, Countering Hate Together

This event featured a presentation by Rachel Carroll Rivas of the Southern Poverty Law Center, followed by a panel discussion moderated by MPAC President Salam Al-Marayati. Together, speakers explored the dangerous rise of white supremacist narratives, how they are reshaping our nation, and what we can do collectively to strengthen our democracy and protect our communities.

Our partners for this event included the Western Justice Center, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the County of Los Angeles Commission on Human Relations, and LA vs Hate.
