During each election cycle, MPAC reaches out to the leading candidates to engage them about issues that are important to American Muslim voters. To this effect, we offer this "2013 Los Angeles Mayor Election Guide" to help you make an informed choice when you go to the polls on Tuesday, May 21.

MPAC submitted questions to the two leading mayoral candidates -- Eric Garcetti and Wendy Greuel  -- to learn more about their positions and commitments. 

In the guide, we provide you with background about the candidates, followed by their responses to our questions on community cohesion, safety and security and bullying in our schools.

MPAC does not endorse any candidates in this race or any other. We encourage each person to study the candidates and vote your conscience. City elections have a notoriously low turnout rate, which means each vote can make a significant difference.
