MPAC joined 11 groups in telling President Trump are his anti-Muslim tweets are at odds with the First Amendment: “Under the US Constitution, the government cannot openly denigrate a class of Americans, marking them for special disdain and reproach simply because of who they are." -

MPAC joined 48 other civil and human rights groups by submitting comments raising a host of fundamental objections to a proposed State Department policy that would disproportionately burden travelers from Muslim countries and chill speech protected by the First Amendment and international human rights standards. -

A coalition of 129 national and local organizations sent letters to 29 mayors in advance of anti-Muslim marches scheduled in their cities on Saturday, June 10. The letters call on the mayors to embrace “values of pluralism, diversity, and liberty for all while firmly rejecting the forces of hate and bigotry that seek to divide us.” -

DHS Secretary John Kelly responds to a letter MPAC sent a letter him regarding civil liberties violations and assessments after President Trump signed the Muslim travel ban executive orders. -

MPAC signed onto a coalition letter of more than 41 organizations who had major concerns about the nomination of Mark Green to the position of Secretary of the Army and called for his rejection. -
