Find out how you can join our national election campaign, “My Faith. My Vote. My Future.”

We want to hear from you! Tell us what issues you would like the candidates to address, who you think will deliver the best points and if winning a debate determines who you will vote for.

Held at the University of Denver in Colorado, tonight’s debate between President Barack Obama and Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney will focus on their views and policies on domestic issues.

Last week, MPAC kicked off its 2012 election campaign -- “My Faith. My Vote. My Future.” The campaign aims to mobilize American Muslims and their communities to participate in the upcoming election. To learn how you can join the nationwide campaign, find an election forum taking place near you or host a debate party check out our Community Toolkit and our website.

“The American Muslim community is a strong thread in our nation’s fabric,” said Hoda Elshishtawy, MPAC’s Legislative and Policy Analyst. “As such, it is crucial for American Muslims to activate and involve themselves in the upcoming elections. Watching the debates together and getting involved in the conversation are fun ways to bring together communities with a vested interest in our future.”

Tonight’s debate viewing party is at capacity. If you are in the DC/Virginia/Maryland area, we invite you to join us for our next two presidential debate viewing parties on Oct. 16 and 22. RSVP today to save your seat by emailing yasmin@mpac.org
