Dr. Hathout to Receive George Regas Courageous Peacemaker Award

On Sept. 8, MPAC's Senior Adviser, Dr. Maher Hathout, will be honored along with Rabbi Leonard Beerman and Eisha Mason with George Regas Courageous Peacemaker Award at the Interfaith Communities United For Justice and Peace's (ICUJP) Three Journeys Towards Peace dinner.
Dr. Maher M. Hathout, senior advisor of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, is a leading spokesperson for the American Muslim community, offering a unique and valuable perspective on national and international issues.
Rabbi Leonard Beerman was founding Rabbi of Leo Baeck Temple in Los Angeles. He is a long-time international activist on issues of peace and social justice.
Eisha Mason is the Interim Regional Director of the American Friends Service Committee in the Pacific Southwest. She is an activist, speaker, author and teacher of nonviolence.
