Solidarity with Sri Lanka

Thoughts and prayers are important for those impacted by the Easter attacks, but not enough.

April 22, 2019

We are disgusted and mortified by the attacks in Sri Lanka that targeted churches and hotels on Easter, April 21, 2019, one of the holiest days for our Christian brothers and sisters. No one should fear for their life in a place of worship. We grieve with them and call on our government to help find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

What can you do?

Thoughts and prayers are important, but not enough. Those impacted by this tragic, senseless violence need our support.

Show up in solidarity.

Join us in supporting our Christian brothers and sisters by attending vigils and visiting your local churches this upcoming Sunday, April 28th, as orthodox Christians celebrate Easter.
