In this video, Khuram Zaman, Founding Director of MPAC’s Center for Security, Technology & Policy (CSTP), discusses the rise in anti-Muslim hate in the United States and abroad, why these threats require a stronger federal response, and how the Department of Homeland Security can better protect vulnerable communities, especially religious minority groups.
CSTP was established to collect and analyze critical data, monitor threats targeting American Muslims, and provide timely security insights. Through research, advocacy, and direct engagement with Congress, federal agencies, mosques, and community organizations, MPAC is working to ensure our communities have the information, resources, and protections they need to stay safe.
