Misaal Irfan

Policy Communications Coordinator

After earning a degree from The George Washington University and completing an MSc in Health and International Development at the London School of Economics, Misaal aims to pursue a J.D. to deepen her expertise in international law, development, and socioeconomic justice. With four years of extensive experience in domestic and foreign policy, advocacy, and legislative work at institutions such as the White House, the U.S. Senate, the American Pakistan Foundation, and the International Institute of Population Sciences, Misaal has honed her research and policy analysis skills. In this role, she will translate complex policies while advancing critical messaging to MPAC’s audiences. Her career is motivated by a commitment to advancing human rights and elevating underrepresented communities, particularly those affected by systemic inequities. Her Pakistani American Muslim identity keeps her rooted in this goal.
