As America prepares to celebrate the first federally-recognized Juneteenth, a day commemorating the end of slavery in the United States of America, we are calling for meaningful legislation to repair existing policies that have disproportionately impacted the African American community. May the Juneteenth Bill create a domino effect of change. -

America has taken an important step in ending unchecked military power by a sitting President. The House voted to repeal the Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) which was created on the basis of falsified intelligence. The full repeal now rests with the Senate. -
